friendly staff walkable area great location day excursions
the staff was friendly. i found the area very walkable. the hotel and room were beyond my expectations. it was a great location to do day excursions from, for example whale watching.
i noticed a very slight noise in the room.

Really good Service and Delicious Food
helpful staff sri lankan fish curry restaurant bookings
The staff were very helpful. Breakfast featured tasty Sri Lankan fish curry in a crispy bread basket one day. I cannot eat spicy food and the kitchen staff prepared milder dishes for me. Ishaliyanage assisted with bookings for restaurants and transportation.
There was music from a nearby bar some evenings.

We enjoyed a superb supper that included crispy pork belly and Mahdi mani fish. The dining area is available both by the pool and inside the hotel. The breakfast options were creative and flavorful during our mornings at the hotel.

a bit disappointing despite some positives
loud music slow service
the location was pretty central. BUT, the noise was a BIG problem. i could hear loud music from nearby venues late into the night. the music really affected my ability to relax and sleep. and the service, it really was slow and not always attentive. i felt a bit let down by the overall experience.

friendly welcome helpful map best coffee
I received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The front office staff gave me a helpful map with some information. The hotel atmosphere evoked a historical Dutch vibe. I recommend the coffee. It was the best I have ever tasted.
Live music from a nearby bar was quite loud in the evening.

The hotel features a restaurant with Moroccan and Sri Lankan cuisine. It is located centrally, with access for walking. The staff was very cute and helpful .
